vonJet® specializes in upgrading used jet aircraft and jet engines. We convert aircraft to a higher economic use. These conversions can consist of removing the still serviceable engines and leasing or selling them while disposing of the airframe or modifying the airframe and/or the engines and then leasing or selling them. Most converted aircraft and engines are used in the airfreight market.
We believe that the willingness to convert or upgrade provides a substantially better return on investment because we are willing to take the calculated risk that an investment of time and money will yield an asset better suited to the cargo market’s needs. This emphasis on conversion also puts us in a market niche that other aircraft leasing companies do not enter.

- He has served in senior managerial and credit capacities in
large national and international banks.
Thomas Devine - Executive Director Technical Services
- Over thirty-five years of experience in aviation and heavy aircraft maintenance. Mr. Devine was the former Vice President – Maintenance and Engineering for Northwest Airlines, Inc.
- He was President of Pacific Aviation, where he undertook project management for firms such as GPA, UPS, Braniff and Comtran International. Before that, he was Vice President-General Manager for Air National, Inc.
Robert Williamson -EVP and Chief Financial Officer
-Nearly forty years of business creation and financial management experience in the computer industry. He was a founder and CFO of Venture Capital funded Data Net Corporation
-Budget officer and assistant director in the U.S. Department of Commerce
-He has a B.S. with Distinction in Engineering and an MBA from Stanford and is a published mystery writer.
